Petals, small leaves, dots, monograms and anything that should shine as one solid colour. Keep shapes small: a stitch longer than about a centimetre snags and sags, and then long and short stitch does the job better.

1. Come up on one edge of the shape and go down on the opposite edge, exactly on the drawn line. Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки

• Pulling tight: the stitches sink into the cloth, the cloth puckers and the shine goes. Lay the thread down, do not haul it.Сильний натяг: стібки тонуть у тканині, вона морщиться, і блиск зникає. Кладіть нитку, а не тягніть її.
