How to do rope stitchЯк вишивати канатний шов
Slanted stitches packed side by side along a narrow band, angled so that the band reads as a twisted rope. Work it in 10 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

Step by stepКрок за кроком
- Draw a double guide line. Come up on the lower line, a short way along from the end, and go down at the very end of the upper line. The stitch slants back the way you came.Нанесіть подвійну напрямну лінію. Виведіть голку на нижній лінії, трохи далі від кінця, і введіть у самому кінці верхньої. - Come up on the lower line again, just along from the first stitch, and go down on the upper line just along from it too. - Carry on along the band. To keep the slants parallel, let the needle enter tight against the last stitch and come up a hair farther from it.
