How to do a coral stitchЯк вишивати кораловий шов
The thread lies along the line and now and then the needle takes a tiny bite across it with the working thread looped under the point — and a knot ties itself onto the line. Work it in 4 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- The thread comes up at the start of the line and lies along it to the first knot. There the needle goes down just above the line and comes up just below it, inside the loop the working thread makes under its point. Pull — and the knot settles onto the line.Нитка виходить на початку лінії й лягає вздовж неї до першого вузлика. Там голка входить трохи вище лінії й виходить трохи нижче — всередині петлі, яку робоча нитка лишає під вістрям. Потягніть — і вузлик сяде на лінію.
- The thread lies along the line again, and the same bite makes the second knot. Keep the spacing even — it is the spacing that reads as coral.Нитка знову лягає вздовж лінії, і такий самий укол дає другий вузлик. Відстані між вузликами тримайте однаковими — саме вони й читаються як «корал».
- The third knot the same way. Draw them all up the same: uneven tension shows instantly.Третій вузлик — так само. Затягуйте всі однаково: нерівний натяг видно одразу.

Done. A line beaded with knots at even intervals — an outline with a texture of its own.
