A row of herringbone tied at every crossing by coral knots in a second thread, whose zigzag lies on top of the band. Work it in 7 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Work a row of herringbone.Вишийте ряд ялинки.
- With a second thread, come up next to the first top crossing. Make a coral knot over the crossing without piercing the cloth: throw the thread forward, slide the needle under the crossed threads with the loop under its point, and pull the knot down onto them. Then travel to the next crossing, below, and tie it the same way. The knots hold the herringbone’s crossings and join into a zigzag. Go down next to the last one.Другу нитку виведіть поруч із першим верхнім перехрестям.
