Your pattern is in another app

Goodnotes, Notability, Books, mail, a browser, a cloud drive or a computer: bring the pattern from where you keep it.

Choose a file… shows only what is in Files. Patterns kept inside Goodnotes, Notability or Books aren’t there: send them to Crosstela from that app. Crosstela keeps its own copy, and the original stays where it was.

From Goodnotes

  1. In the library, tap the pattern’s title and tap Export. Or, with the pattern open, tap Share and Export All.
  2. Choose PDF and tap Export.
  3. Choose Crosstela in the row of apps.

From Notability

  1. Open the note with the pattern.
  2. Tap ⋯ at the top right, then Export as.
  3. Choose PDF, then choose Crosstela in the row of apps.

From Books

  1. In Books, tap Library.
  2. Tap ⋯ under the pattern and tap Share PDF.
  3. Choose Crosstela in the row of apps.

From an email

Works in Mail, Gmail and Outlook alike.

  1. Tap the attachment to open it.
  2. Tap Share .
  3. Choose Crosstela.

From a website or Etsy

What you download in Safari goes to the Downloads folder in Files.

  1. Download the pattern.
  2. In Crosstela, tap + on the shelf, then Choose a file….
  3. Open Downloads and tap the file.

Bought on Etsy? Download the files from Purchases on etsy.com in Safari: the Etsy app doesn’t download them. A zip from the shop opens as it is.

From iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive

iCloud Drive is already in Files. Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive appear there once their app is installed and turned on:

  1. Open Files and tap Browse.
  2. Tap ⋯ at the top, then Edit.
  3. Turn on the drive, and tap Done.

Then in Crosstela tap + › Choose a file… and find the pattern in that drive.

From a Mac or a computer

  1. On the Mac, Control-click the file and choose Share › AirDrop.
  2. Choose your iPad or iPhone.
  3. If your device asks which app, choose Crosstela. If not, the file waits in Downloads in Files: open it with Choose a file….

No Mac? Email the file to yourself, or put it in iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive.

Crosstela isn’t in the row of apps

  1. Swipe the row of apps to the end and tap More. Crosstela is in the list.
  2. The app may call it Open in…, Export or Send a copy. Look there.
  3. If it asks for a format, choose PDF.
  4. Still not there? Choose Save to Files, then open the file with Choose a file… in Crosstela.

The pattern didn’t open

The card says why. Most of the time you can tap Send it to us: we’ll work on the file and reply with one that opens. See When a file doesn’t open.

Схема в іншому застосунку

Вибрати файл… показує лише те, що є у Файлах. Схем, які лежать у Goodnotes, Notability чи Книгах, там немає: надішліть їх у Crosstela з того застосунку. Crosstela зберігає власну копію, а оригінал лишається на місці.

З Goodnotes

  1. У бібліотеці торкніться назви схеми й торкніться Експорт. Або, коли схему відкрито, торкніться «Поділитися» і Експортувати все.
  2. Виберіть PDF і торкніться Експорт.
  3. Виберіть Crosstela в ряду застосунків.

З Notability

  1. Відкрийте нотатку зі схемою.
  2. Торкніться ⋯ угорі праворуч, потім Експортувати як.
  3. Виберіть PDF, а потім Crosstela в ряду застосунків.

З Книг

  1. У Книгах торкніться Бібліотека.
  2. Торкніться ⋯ під схемою й торкніться Поділитися PDF.
  3. Виберіть Crosstela в ряду застосунків.

З листа

Так само в Пошті, Gmail і Outlook.

  1. Торкніться вкладення, щоб відкрити його.
  2. Торкніться «Поділитися» .
  3. Виберіть Crosstela.

Із сайту або Etsy

Те, що ви завантажуєте в Safari, потрапляє в папку Завантаження у Файлах.

  1. Завантажте схему.
  2. У Crosstela торкніться + на полиці, потім Вибрати файл….
  3. Відкрийте Завантаження й торкніться файлу.

Купили на Etsy? Завантажте файли з розділу Purchases на etsy.com у Safari: застосунок Etsy їх не завантажує. Архів zip від магазину відкривається як є.

З iCloud Drive, Dropbox чи Google Drive

iCloud Drive уже є у Файлах. Dropbox, Google Drive та OneDrive з’являються там, коли їхній застосунок установлено й увімкнено:

  1. Відкрийте Файли й торкніться Огляд.
  2. Торкніться ⋯ угорі, потім Редагувати.
  3. Увімкніть потрібне сховище й торкніться Готово.

Потім у Crosstela торкніться + › Вибрати файл… і знайдіть схему в цьому сховищі.

З Mac або комп’ютера

  1. На Mac клацніть файл, утримуючи Control, і виберіть Поширити › AirDrop.
  2. Виберіть свій iPad або iPhone.
  3. Якщо пристрій запитає, яким застосунком відкрити, виберіть Crosstela. Якщо ні — файл чекає в Завантаженнях у Файлах: відкрийте його через Вибрати файл….

Немає Mac? Надішліть файл собі листом або покладіть його в iCloud Drive, Dropbox чи Google Drive.

Crosstela немає в ряду застосунків

  1. Прокрутіть ряд застосунків до кінця й торкніться Більше. Crosstela є в списку.
  2. Застосунок може називати це Відкрити в…, Експорт або Надіслати копію. Пошукайте там.
  3. Якщо він питає формат, виберіть PDF.
  4. Досі немає? Виберіть Зберегти у Файли, а потім відкрийте файл через Вибрати файл… у Crosstela.

Схема не відкрилася

Картка пояснює чому. Здебільшого можна торкнутися Надіслати нам: ми попрацюємо над файлом і відповімо файлом, який відкривається. Див. Коли файл не відкривається.
