What it is used forЗастосування

Real buttonholes on heavy cloth, cut edges and hard-wearing edgings. It can also be worked as a surface stitch and the cloth trimmed away beside it afterwards.

Справжні петлі на щільній тканині, зрізані краї й зносостійкі облямівки. Можна також вишити його на поверхні, а потім обрізати тканину поруч.

Step by stepКрок за кроком

  1. Start at the right-hand end and travel left. Bring the thread out close to the edge, then push the needle through from the back of the cloth to the front, a little way in from the edge.Працюйте справа наліво.   3. Draw the needle out, then pull the thread away from the edge, so that the knot seats itself right on it. Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки

  • Pulling toward the edge rather than away from it: the knot falls behind the edge and the ridge disappears.Нитку потягнуто до краю, а не від нього: вузлик падає за край, і валик зникає.
