Edging blankets and appliqué, grass and flower borders, and outlines with a little more life in them. Blocks of graded lengths make castle-like or wave-like patterns.

1. Work from left to right along the base line. Come up on the line, go down a little to the right and above it, and come up on the line straight below, inside the loop.
