1. Draw two parallel lines and work from right to left. At the right-hand end, come up on the top line. Lay the thread in a loop, with the part that goes to the needle on top, and go down a little to the left on the same line. Come up on the bottom line, slightly to the right of where you went down, inside the loop. Draw through, but not tight. Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки

• Forgetting to slide under the top of the stitch: the loop looks right for a moment, then lies down and the plait never forms.Голка не заходить під верх стібка: петля на мить виглядає правильно, а потім лягає, і косичка не утворюється.
