How to do surface sheaf stitchЯк вишивати поверхневий снопик
Three straight stitches side by side, bound together at the waist by a small tie that does not pierce the cloth, like a tiny sheaf of wheat. Work it in 8 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Make three straight stitches close together, the same length.Зробіть три прямі стібки близько один від одного, однакової довжини.
- Come up under the middle stitch, at its waist. Slide the needle out under the right-hand stitch. Then take the thread over all three, slide under the left-hand stitch from the outside, and go down where you came up. Pull a little: the outer stitches draw in and the middle is cinched.Виведіть голку під середнім стібком, посередині. Заведіть голку під правий стібок назовні. Tips and common mistakesПоради й типові помилки
- Going through the cloth under the side stitches: the waist cannot then draw in and the sheaf stays straight.Голка проходить крізь тканину під бічними стібками: талія не стягується, і снопик лишається прямим.
- Pulling the tie hard: the sheaf bunches up and the cloth puckers. A gentle draw is plenty.Сильно затягнута закріпка: снопик збивається, а тканина морщиться. Досить легкого натягу.
