How to do a straight GobelinЯк вишивати прямий гобелен
An upright stitch two cells tall, laid in tight rows. The height is the chart's to choose — over two, three, four threads; it is the same stitch, only longer. The thread comes up at the bottom and lies straight up over two cells. The next stitch takes the neighbouring canvas thread, tight against it.
Прямий стібок угору через дві клітинки, покладений рядами впритул. Висоту задає схема — через дві, три, чотири нитки; це той самий шов, просто довший. Нитка виходить унизу й лягає просто вгору через дві клітинки. Наступний стібок — сусідня нитка канви, впритул.
