Small diamonds strung along a line with two arrows between them, like buds and pairs of leaves on a twig. Work it in 14 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Go out along the top of the twig in double running: the upper sides of a diamond, along the stem and over the upper sides of the next diamond.
