Long level stitches, set one thread along from the row above, sharing holes end to end, so that the surface is closed and subtle diagonal stripes run across it. Work it in 8 passes: bring the needle up at each odd number and down at the even number after it.

- Make a level stitch over five threads. In the row below make another, set one thread further along, and so on down the shape. Each stitch is one thread to the side of the one above, and that step is what forms the stripe.Зробіть горизонтальний стібок через п’ять ниток. - Stitches that do not share the hole on the return. A small gap shows between them and the stripe turns to dashes.
