Every picture was drawn for this page, then charted by Crosstela's own photo-to-pattern converter: each colour matched to the nearest DMC thread, the palette kept small, lone single stitches cleaned up. Each PDF has a cover with the finished look, a colour key with stitch counts and skeins, and the symbol chart with a bold line every ten squares, split across pages with a little overlap when the design is large.

The chart file is also inside the PDF, so when you open it in Crosstela you get this exact pattern, ready to mark stitch by stitch, not a scan of the page. The pages say it too: a copy without the file inside still opens as the chart, because Crosstela reads the colour key and every symbol off the printed pages.
